Dear WMRSD Families and Staff,
I want to address some confusion regarding the upcoming Budget Hearing and the Budget Work Session dates.
Tonight, the School Board will hold a Budget "Work Session" to review and finalize the slides that will be presented at the Budget Hearing, which is scheduled for Wednesday, January 8th, at 6:00 PM at WMRHS Auditorium.
While the public is always welcome to attend board meetings, please note that tonight's meeting is a preparation session and not the actual Budget Hearing.
We encourage you to join us for the Budget Hearing next week, where we will present the finalized budget details and address questions from the community.
Thank you for your understanding and continued engagement in our district’s planning process.
Sincerely,
Marion

On Wednesday, Whitefield students attended the NED Growth Mindset assembly. The NED group showed the students the importance of resilience and the power of making slow progress. The presenter performed a number of incredible yoyo stunts.
The focus of NED's Mindset Mission is:
Never Give Up - Understand the power of YET
Encourage others - Spark courage in other people
Do Your Best - Always be learning and growing
If your child bought a yoyo, they have a lifetime guarantee. You can contact the NED group for free replacements. Please help your child to adjust the yoyo string to waist height.
