After the budget meeting, Mark Manganiello, from the NHED Bureau of School Finance, will present these topics specifically for the towns of Carroll, Dalton, Jefferson, Lancaster and Whitefield.
1. Adequacy formula changes
2. Enrollment decline counters with aid adjustments
3. Property growth and its effect on extraordinary needs grant
4. Free and Reduced meals eligibility and its effect on adequacy aid
5. Impact of property tax base and extraordinary needs grant
6. Confusions over how new valuations will impact property tax rates
School funding is complex, and this is an opportunity to ask clarifying questions to help you understand the state, local, and federal funding that affects your taxes!

Good Afternoon White Mountains Regional School District Families and Staff. All after school activities are cancelled today.
Dear Families of Students on Bus 139 – Yellow Line,
We want to inform you of a transportation update that will take effect beginning Monday, December 8, 2025. Notchview Transportation will be taking over the Bus 139 (Yellow Line) route from Berry Transportation.
Please note that all pick-up and drop-off times will remain exactly the same, and no changes to stops or schedules are anticipated at this time. We will evaluate after one week to determine if changes must be made.
If you have any transportation-related questions after the transition, you may contact Notchview Transportation directly at 1-603-823-3377.
