Parsons, Amy

Hello My Name Is...

Amy Parsons

I am beginning my 18th year in the WMRSD.  I graduated in 2002 from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Elementary Education K-6 and a concentration in American Studies.  I am also working toward my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction at Plymouth State University.  I have been dedicated to the Lancaster School for my entire teaching career, having taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade - my current position.  This school year, I will continue to advise the Lancer Chapter of NJHS.  It is my belief that all students should take ownership of their learning and  fosters this process through engaging activities and teaching students to be active and motivated members of their classroom.  I live in Lancaster and have two sons who will both attend  LES (K & 5th grade). I am really excited for my new 5th graders and am looking forward to working closely with my teammates to have a fantastic year!
